Adan has more than 35 years of continuing experience in the Energy Industry, including Utility Demand Side Management and Energy Conservation Programs, and as a consultant working for MEP and Energy companies. A major constituent of his experience is developing and managing large energy conservation and renewable energy projects for large national and international companies. These projects involved HVAC, Lighting, Energy Management Systems, Solar Photovoltaic, Cogeneration, Chilled and Hot Water Central Plants, electrical upgrades, pumps, fan, motors, and VSD upgrades. Most projects developed by Adan included a savings guarantee which required a Life Cycle Cost analysis and to be economically feasible; all projects included a measurement and verification plan.
Adan has a BS in Chemical Engineering from The Technology Institute of Celaya and a MS in Physics from the Technology Institute of Advanced Studies of Monterrey, AEE Certified Energy Manager, USGBC LEED-AP, UC Berkely Certificate in HVAC&R, UC Berkely Certificate in Air Pollution, and a Stanford University Certificate in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies. Adan holds several Contractor’s Licenses in the State of California including GC, C-10, and C-20. He is also a lifetime licensed Physics College Professor.
